Dede Jaramillo is a native Santa Fean. She has been in the healthcare field for twenty plus years. She enjoys helping people.

At the Japanese Integrative Acupuncture and Wellness Center she is the Insurance Specialist. She can help you navigate through the rough waters in the Insurance Industry.

MARCELLA ORTEGA

Marcella Ortega is joining our staff. She is a native born Santa Fean and attended Santa Fe High. She then went to the College of Santa Fe and earned her BA degree in Accounting.

After working 25 years in State Government she has retired and is taking care of the most adorable grandson. Marcella is going to be our accounts manager and try to keep all our ledgers current.

Marcella is a people person and loves working with people. If you have any question about your statement she is our go to person. She is looking forward to working with all of you. Call her if you have questions.

THE TAIL OF THREE THERAPY DOGS

At the Integrative Japanese Acupuncture and Wellness Center, Dr. Duckworth has three helpers.

Austin has been with the Wellness Center for more than 17 years. He is now in virtual retirement usually under the desk asleep. Upon request, though, he will gladly give you an anti-aging consult based on his many years of experience.

Lilly is the head nurse. She is excellent in lowering blood pressure by having you pet her for a long time. She is in semi retirement but can always be enlisted to help by offering her a treat. Lilly has been in service for 13 years at the Center.

Last but not least is the youngest member of the therapy dog team. Yoshi is 4 years old and he is an expert fitness trainer. His expertise is in building upper body strength by having you throw the ball at least 25 times while you are at the Center. A puppy poultice can be applied by patient request.
